    [description] => Members in Meridian Trust play a limited but crucial role in safeguarding trust governance. Multi academy trusts are founded by Members. Members agree the Articles of Association, which include Meridian Trust's charitable purpose. The articles are subject to approval by the Secretary of State for Education.

Members appoint any additional Members and the majority of Trustees. They have the right to remove a Member or Trustee for specific reasons detailed in the Articles of Association. They also appoint and may remove external auditors and receive the audit report.

Meridian Trust currently has 6 members.
