Meridian Trust staff are eligible for a Blue Light Card. The card gives teachers and support staff access to discounts and rewards for a wide range of services. Blue Light Card members can potentially save up to £800 per year.

You might be eligible for tax-free childcare if you’re working. The Government’s Gateway System allows a working parent to set up an account, pay in the money required for their childcare and receive a tax free top up added on (up to a maximum of £2000.00 per year).

We want to support our colleagues to be able to travel to and from work, in an environmentally friendly way. This government backed initiative, allows employees to give up a part of their gross salary in exchange for a bike or accessories. Meridian Trust colleagues can access an EAP service through Vivup benefits. This offers 24/7 confidential support, counselling, an Online GP, and healthy lifestyle guidance. Eyecare Vouchers


Our partnership with Specsavers Corporate Eyecare means we are able to offer free eye tests to employees who frequently use Display Screen Equipment (DSE). This scheme also covers the cost of an eye test and a financial contribution towards glasses that are required for DSE use. Free Flu Immunisation


If they are not already entitled to a free flu vaccination from the NHS, all Meridian Trust employees are able to reclaim the cost of their flu vaccination. Book and attend a flu vaccination outside of working hours and keep your receipt to submit an expense claim.

Free Parking


All school sites across Meridian Trust offer free parking for employees who are based there or who are visiting. For some schools there are particular arrangements for parking (such as at Bar Hill Primary School) so please contact reception at each school ahead of your visit if you are unsure of the parking arrangements in place.

Free Tea and Coffee


Sometimes all you need is a hot cuppa. All school sites across Meridian Trust provide free tea and coffee making facilities for all employees in the staff room or staff workroom.
