As part of their PSHE curriculum, Ely College were delighted to play host to Youth for Christ touring band, The Sense.
Pupils were treated to industry-standard live music performances at the College, during PSHE lessons and assemblies, and at a ‘one off’ live gig at the spectacular venue of Ely Cathedral, which was attended by over 100 pupils.
The PSHE workshops allowed pupils time to explore some of life’s big questions, including ‘the value of a person’ and ‘is there more to life?’. Performances were very enthusiastically received, with plenty of audience participation from all pupils and staff.
The College were delighted to be able to allow pupils to witness such a high standard of live music performances, many of whom will have done so for the first time ever, and would like to extend their thanks to Newmarket Youth for Christ who made this event possible.
