We are proud to look after 14 primary schools within Meridian Trust.
These schools benefit from expert primary leadership and teaching which was bolstered last year with the merger of CPET with CMAT – to create Meridian Trust.
This expertise will be of great value to new primary schools opening in the region.
Therefore, we are delighted to be one of the Academy Trusts shortlisted to run the new primary school for Darwin Green, Cambridge.
As the sponsor for the future Darwin Green Secondary Academy, expected to open in September 2026, we would be delighted to have the proposed Darwin Green Primary School within our family.
The development of these two schools together will only strengthen the experience for the children of both schools but also the establishment of this growing community.
Public event:
The local authority has organised an event on Thursday 12th January where members of the public can attend and get to meet the shortlisted Academy Trusts looking to run the new school.
We’d very much like to answer any questions you have and invite you to attend the event which takes place between 6.30pm to 7.45pm at the Storey’s Field Centre, on Eddington Avenue in Cambridge.
