In a strategic move to enhance operational efficiency, Meridian Trust’s Estates Department introduced new software – iAM Compliant – earlier this year.
After four months of dedicated efforts with the support of the iAM Compliant team, the software officially launched in early November.
Since its launch, iAM Compliant has successfully processed over 1,400 Helpdesk requests from the Estates team, with an impressive 71 per cent of these being resolved within two days of submission. General maintenance emerged as the most frequently requested area for support.
Martin Smith, Deputy Director of Estates, said: “We are committed to providing seamless support to our Academies, and the launch of our new Helpdesk, powered by iAM Compliant, signifies a pivotal moment for the Estates Department. We are very pleased with its impact since its launch, as it marks the culmination of a lot of hard work to get ready over the summer and autumn.’
iAM Compliant effectively manages planned and reactive maintenance tasks, facilitates support requests from the Estates team, creates a comprehensive electronic library of compliance documents, and acts as the Trust’s First Aid record. All of these features are delivered through a simple-to-use user desktop accessible via the internet.
The preparation for iAM Compliant’s launch involved meticulously adding 194 building locations, configuring 2,800 user profiles, uploading 3,200 individual building assets, and creating 4,000 rooms and spaces. This substantial effort took place during the busy summer term break, where, in conjunction with the iAM Compliant project, the Estates team successfully executed a schedule of repair and decoration work across numerous Trust buildings.
Martin Hair, Director of Estates, added: “This platform supports our drive to provide additional high-quality school buildings and facilities, enabling us to implement effective solutions to our building issues. As we embark on this new journey with iAM Compliant, we encourage our colleagues to actively engage with the platform, ensuring it becomes a valuable resource for enhancing our services.”
