Lincroft Academy, part of Meridian Trust, has retained its Inclusion Quality Mark (IQM) Centre of Excellence status for a second year, recognising the school’s continued commitment to inclusive education.
This accolade highlights the Academy’s success in creating an inclusive educational environment. As an IQM Centre of Excellence since 2025, Lincroft Academy is reviewed on an annual basis to ensure that the school continues to demonstrate innovation, commitment, and leadership in inclusion.
The Inclusion Quality Mark described Lincroft Academy as “a visionary school; it never stands still”, praising the school’s “warm, calm, safe, comfortable and respectful” atmosphere where “inclusion runs through the very heart of the school.”
Inspectors also praised the Academy’s innovative ‘Five Pillars of Inclusion’, which underpin every aspect of school practice to ensure “the right support for the right student at the right time.” The Academy’s Autism Resource Centre (ARC) was highlighted as “a beacon of the school”, transforming the educational and social experiences of pupils.
The school has also recently achieved the Careers Quality Mark, recognising its “blended, inclusive and collaborative careers approach” and the “high standard and holistic delivery” of its careers education, information, advice and guidance programme.

These awards reflect the positive culture we have built at Lincroft Academy, where every student is supported to thrive academically, personally, and in planning for their future.”
