Tom oversees Psychology, Sociology & Criminology across the Trust in addition to his current role running Sawtry’s Sixth Form. Tom is also the lead for whole-school Teaching & Learning at Sawtry Village Academy. In his role, Tom will support Social Science teams across the Trust to develop their teaching, marking and feedback methods with Key Stage 4 and 5 pupils, as well as exploring wider careers & enrichment opportunities within the subject area.
Before this post, Tom led Sawtry’s Social Science department and taught Social Science and Geography at a school in Peterborough after working for the European Parliament following his degree in Social & Political Sciences at York and Masters in Global Diplomacy at SOAS, University of London.
