Robin is the Principal of Nene Park Academy (NPA) in Peterborough. NPA were the first school to join Cambridge Meridian Academies Trust (CMAT) in 2011 and continues to enjoy a very successful partnership with Meridian Trust following the merger of CMAT and Cambridge Primary Education Trust (CPET) in 2022. Robin originally trained as a PE teacher in Sheffield and has been teaching for 23 years, almost a decade of which has been as a Headteacher in schools across the country, including 18 months in the Primary sector. His enthusiasm for sport and all wider-curricular or enrichment activities is second to none. His work reflects a belief that regardless of background or wealth, all children can achieve great things given the right opportunities, support and motivation. Robin strives to ensure that his school community is safe, happy and successful, nothing short of what he wants for his own children, fuelled by the highest of expectations and the very best academic and personal development.
