Robert has worked in Cambridge, as a VAT consultant, since 1996. He served as a trustee for Cambridge Primary Education Trust (CPET) since its formation in December 2012 and his children attended CPET schools. He joined the Meridian Trust board on merger of CPET and Cambridge Meridian Academies Trust in April 2022.
