Paul Phillipson

Paul Phillipson has more than 40 years of leadership experience across policing, local government, and education. He served for 30 years in Cambridgeshire Police, rising through all ranks to finish as Chief Superintendent in Peterborough in 2009. He then spent nine years as Director of Operations in local authorities, including Peterborough and Rutland, with responsibility for key services such as leisure, highways, and school infrastructure. Paul has held numerous governance roles in schools and beyond, including leading the Interim Executive Board at the predecessor to Meridian’s second school, Nene Park Academy, a role that led to his ongoing involvement with the Trust.
