As Curriculum Director of Science at Meridian Trust, James oversees the science curriculum across its secondary schools. He works closely with science leaders and teachers to support pedagogy, curriculum design and assessment, while also facilitating high-quality subject-specific professional learning and enrichment opportunities for students.
James takes a values-led approach to school improvement, ensuring that the colleagues he is privileged to lead are known, valued, and supported to reach their full potential.
Before taking on the Director role, James led significant and sustained improvements in two science departments and held whole-school responsibilities for curriculum and timetabling.
James also serves as Chair of the Sawtry Junior Academy Council.
