Formerly Primary Director of Curriculum, Emma worked across Cambridge Meridian Academies Trust (CMAT) Primary schools with teachers and leaders developing practice and pedagogy in English, Science, History, Geography and Technology. Emma joined Cambridge Meridian Academies Trust in September 2014 as Assistant Principal, Science Lead and Year 6 teacher and later became Vice Principal at West Town Primary Academy. Whilst Science Lead, Emma facilitated the rapid improvement in the teaching and learning of science and shared these developments as an invited speaker at an international conference. Emma’s passion for teaching lies in her own struggles academically at school and her drive to ensure teaching and learning in Meridian Trust primaries meets the needs of every child.
As of September 2026, Emma is Headteacher at Woodston Primary School.
