As a Meridian Trust Curriculum Director, Emily oversees the history curriculum across Meridian secondary schools. In her role she supports history leaders and teachers across the trust with teaching, learning and assessment as well as facilitating subject specific professional development opportunities and history enrichment opportunities for students. Emily has worked in education since 2005. She was previously a History Subject Advisor with the exam board OCR; Head of Department; Lead Practitioner in History and Assistant Headteacher. Emily recently completed her MEd at University of Cambridge looking at curricula decision-making in history.
