Martin Bacon Academy is a new, state of the art, Area Special School, built in the heart of the Northstowe Learning Community, near Cambridge.

The academy can cater for up to 110 children and young people aged between 3 to 19, who have a range of complex and significant learning needs in the area of cognition and learning (with other co-occurring conditions).

This covers a wide range of needs including learners with autistic spectrum condition and those with complex physical and sensory impairments. All pupils are provided with an exciting, balanced education which is appropriately paced and designed to meet their individual educational needs.

The academy is named after the founder of CMAT, Martin Bacon. It is closely linked to Northstowe Secondary College, sharing the same site.

Joined Meridian Trust in 2020.
