
Students across our Trust are celebrating today as they received yet another excellent set of GCSE, vocational and entry level results, marking the culmination of years of hard work and personal growth.
Many will now begin to prepare for their next steps, whether going on to study at sixth forms, colleges, or taking up apprenticeships.
At Abbey College, students excelled, with many making significant progress and exceeding their target grades. Ely College celebrated excellent results across multiple subjects, with many students excited to continue their studies at the college as part of Bishop Laney Sixth Form.
Hard work has paid off for students at Greater Peterborough University Technical College, Peterborough’s first STEM-specialist technical education provider. Many students are now set to continue their studies in the college’s sixth form or progress onto high-quality apprenticeships, including Sam, who achieved the grades he needed to secure a mechanical engineering apprenticeship with Caterpillar.
Lincroft Academy continues to go from strength to strength as students received brilliant grades across all subjects, reflecting their hard work and perseverance. At Martin Bacon Academy, all of Hawks Class passed their BTEC vocational studies, with special recognition going to Aliesha who achieved a double Merit and Charlie who achieved a Merit Pass.
North Cambridge Academy students achieved an impressive number of grade 9s and Distinction* awards, with several securing fully funded Post-16 bursaries at the Stephen Perse Foundation through the North Cambridge Futures Programme. Students at NeneGate School celebrate achieving some of the best results in the school’s recent history.
Northstowe Secondary College celebrated another excellent set of results for the college. At Nene Park Academy, triplets Jonathan, Louisa and Thomas were among the students receiving excellent results today, gaining 32 GCSEs between them.
There were smiles and celebrations at Sharnbrook Academy with a number of students achieving grade 9s and 8s. At Stratton School, the results received reflect the school’s year-on-year progression, with many students excited to progress to the school’s exceptional Matt King Sixth Form.
Sawtry Village Academy saw fantastic results achieved by students, with many achieving above their predicted grades. There were smiles all round at Swavesey Village College as students achieved brilliant results and secured an impressive number of top grades. The excellent results achieved by students at Stamford Welland Academy are a testament to the effort and perseverance they have shown throughout their studies.
The Ferrers School celebrated an improvement in results compared with the previous year, with an impressive number of grade 8 and 9 achievements. At The Harbour School, students such as Kyle and Hayden received brilliant results and are looking forward to continuing their studies at college.
