The 365 Project (Primary)

The 365 project is exploring the use of tablet devices to predominantly replace exercise books and enhance learning for the children. At least two classes in each of our schools have been given tablet devices and pens and are developing their one note ‘e textbooks’. This is not however just gimmick. individual teachers have been investigating how the use of the technology can enhance our current pedagogies and provide a better learning experience for the children. Working as Ed Tech Demonstrators within the Suffolk College Consortium we have provided a series of training webinars nationally as well as bespoke advice and support for other primary schools. Our series of research projects include looking at how the devices can enhance homework specifically for deprived children or children whose parents through language or other barriers are not able to support the children easily at home;  how maths fluency can be developed more rapidly using branching support on forms; how immediate voice recording can enhance feedback within a one note exercise book; how voice recording within one note, can directly relate to children’s improved success in written recording
