I trained to be a teacher via the salaried route with The Cambridge Partnership as my training provider. The Cambridge Partnership teaching training program was excellent, and I was supported every step of the way by a fantastic team of dedicated staff.
I qualified in 2013 and became a full-time member of the media department at Sawtry Village Academy. Since then I’ve gone on to lead the department and in 2019 I became the CMAT curriculum leader for media studies; leading media studies across all CMAT secondary schools. It’s been a great journey so far and I can’t wait to see what the future holds.
