At the end of the spring term, we say a heartfelt thank you and a sad farewell to our retiring Trustees, Kevin Barton and Mark Squires.

Kevin has been a dedicated and valued Trustee for seven years, supporting the Trust from our CMAT days and contributing his expertise through our Finance and Resources Committee. His commitment and insight have played an important role in strengthening our organisation over time.

Mark has been part of the Meridian Trust journey for 25 years, having first met our CEO Mark Woods when he interviewed as Deputy Headteacher at Swavesey Village College over twenty years ago. His extraordinary service reflects a longstanding and unwavering commitment across many leadership roles within the Trust.
Mark Woods, CEO of Meridian Trust, remarked: “We appreciate all the hours, weeks and years our Trustees devote and their corporate expertise is a tremendous asset. The legacy of a valued Trustee lies in helping create schools where every student is supported and empowered for success, and building a Trust ready to meet any future challenges or opportunities.
A heartfelt thank you to Kevin and Mark from all of us at Meridian Trust.”
